WHY I LOVE ELON MUSK.
I think Elon Musk is the most sensational person in this century.
If I was told to describe Elon Musk in one word the word that would pop in my head is Drive.
Determination.
Hard work.
Vision.
I know those are four words, but I feel like they embody him as a person.
In a world where almost all rich people are running to make a quick buck and enrich themselves, Elon Musk is thinking about us and how to make the world a better place.
He has his beliefs, stood by them and he did not take any shortcuts to get to where he is right now.
He started from having only 60000 thousand dollars, to building a billion-dollar franchise.
Elon Musk spent a lot of sleepless nights working on what he believed in and now even when he is worth billions and billions of dollars he is still working hard. He has not retired to some beach to drink margaritas waiting for the money to roll in.
He comes up with a plan and executes it; he is not just all talk. From interviews, it is obvious he cares about the earth and what will happen to us in future if we do not take care of the planet now.
He has this vision where the world over people use renewable energy, especially with electric cars to help save the environment. When other investors are busy building companies that pump junk and toxins into the earth ruining lives he is trying to save the planet earth. He is trying to convince the world over that using renewable energy is cheaper and sustainable.
You would think that would be enough but with SpaceX, he is looking for ways we can travel to other planets and mars affordably. We have seen movies with zombies and the World war Z where the earth life is ruined. I know this is fantasy but one day something is going to destroy the earth, it is good to know that we have the option of leaving. The poor and the rich being afforded the same opportunity to move.
 Aside from all this, he is my mentor because he is a billionaire who was not given a silver spoon. He rose organically through his determination, patience, and persistence. He shows me that it can be done, nothing is impossible if you believe and execute. He rarely spends any money on advertising, but instead, he focuses on making the product better. Most people spend a lot of time advertising junk as gold so that they can make a quick buck, but not Elon Musk.
You have to respect the man for that.
 The last reason why I love him is that I feel like I can connect to him and his story.
He is a billionaire, but he does not talk down to anyone, unlike some people who believe because they have achieved they are better than other people. Or on a different planet than as mere mortals.
He makes me believe and have hope for a better future. A future where we are not dying because of over pollution and toxins.
A world where we all have a chance to visit and see the wonders of mars and other planets.
That leaving earth is not just a luxury that can be afforded by the rich only.
He makes me want to work hard to be rich but do it in a way that is enriching the world.
Let us not be those people who take and not give something back.
Get rich while also thinking of other people, not just yourself.
