HOW TO EMBRACE YOUR CURVES.

At one point in life or the other, we have all been self-conscious about how we look and how others perceive us. Hollywood has created this ridiculous stereotype that for you to be viewed as sexy, you have to fit a particular body type. I have started several workout programs after watching BeyoncĂ©’ singing or watching a movie where the actress looked for ridiculously hot. Those programs did not last long because I was trying to look like someone else. Everybody is unique, just because you have curves does not mean you are unhealthy. I have been with people who I admire because they workout, they eat a healthy balanced diet but they also do not deny themselves that treat one’s in a while. They have curves, and they are proud of them because they are living a full, well-balanced life. Getting to the point where you accept yourself for who you are and live your best life is hard, but we are here to help with that. We came up with several tips to help you embrace your curves.

IS EDUCATION VALID ANYMORE

I have spent most of my twenty-five years doing the right thing and being the best in my studies.
Well, the best I could be under the circumstances while maintaining a social life.
If education said jump, I would ask how high because I was told since I was young if I wanted to amount to anything in life I had to study hard.
I remember hearing stop playing come and study the mathematical tables.
Put that ball down and do your homework.
The look of disappointment on my parents faced when I was number 88 out of 90.
I know that was two numbers before the last, but that is not the point.
Stop writing that story and reading so many novels you will do that after you finish your studies.
Do not sleep during preps you will end up staying awake when you grow up.
Do not laugh too loud you are distracting those who are reading.
Education was set as the pedestal to a more fabulous life.
So I stopped playing and being curious.
I stopped laughing too loud.
I stopped reading and writing those would not amount to much.
I stopped, I just stopped.
Twenty-five years later here I am with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Looking for a job that pays just 200 dollars a month so that I can afford to live in a single room. I am questioning the whole process.
Where are the rewards that I was promised?
Where is the better life that I was supposed to get after I study hard?
Where is the beautiful life?
Why did I study as much?
Where is the gold at the end of the rainbow?
Until next time, adios.
